PAL Mission Statement
The Pet Adoption League is a no-kill, non-profit animal shelter founded to aid unwanted, neglected, and/or abandoned pets. Until new homes can be found; PAL will provide shelter, food and veterinary care (including spaying and neutering) to all needy animals, with NO time limit on their length of stay at the shelter. Education about responsible pet guardianship is also a big part of our work. Special emphasis is given to the importance of spaying, neutering and the cruelty of chaining pets to dog houses. We promote pets as valued family members worthy of life-long protection and love; not merely as animals that people "own". Our goal is to provide the kind of care that turns a frightened, hungry or deserted dog or cat into someone's cherished friend for life.
